Work was being undertaken next to a reservoir.
Steelwork was erected with support beams to hold back reservoir thrust.
The roof was formed using phenolic plywood sheet shuttering and supported by acrow props with u heads on to support beams underneath the structure.
Spacers were fitted with reinforcing mesh 2no layers of A393 and a concrete pump to get concrete up. Considerable shuttering was installed to cast roof in one day.
Shuttering was struck once concrete had gone off.
Heavy engineering equipment was installed into the building prior to cavity brickwork being installed to complete the building.
The roof was insulated and felted over with a one layer specialist roofing material with concrete roof slabs fitted on top to protect the surface.
